Graeme — It was faster for me to do this quick screencast then to type a lengthy email. Let’s forget using Levelator for now and instead, I’ve provided you with a complete workflow to go from .mov to .aif and then to .mp3 in minutes.
Tools you’ll need to have are:
- The free and open source audio editor called Audacity
- Quicktime 7 (You probably already have this, but I include it since Apple removed a bunch of functionality for the Snow Leopard version of Quicktime, version 10.0)
