Google Maps…look out Mapquest
I’ve been goofin’ with the beta of Google Maps. I *really* like the freshness of the visuals, the ease of scrolling (and it’s smooth!) and the attractiveness of the graphics. Besides all of that, it’s fast.
In the picture at your left, I did a screengrab of a lookup on one of my favorite coffee shops in Eden Prairie where I live (it’s in a renovated farmhouse…lots of character). As you can see from the graphics on the higher level view *and* the zoomed in view, it has quite a nice user interface and map representation. Give it a try…

Connecting the Dots Podcast
Podcasting hit the mainstream in July of 2005 when Apple added podcast show support within iTunes. I'd seen this coming so started podcasting in May of 2005 and kept going until August of 2007. Unfortunately was never 'discovered' by national broadcasters, but made a delightfully large number of connections with people all over the world because of these shows.
