Wow. What a heartwarming story on this chilly Friday.

A 50-year-old janitor stumbled upon $13,000 and an iPad while cleaning up the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport recently, and instead of playing finders keepers, he returned both to their owner. Then he reluctantly accepted the $60 reward but gave it to a homeless woman and a colleague in need.

This is an amazing story but, in some ways, it’s too bad there aren’t a lot more Patrick Morgans in the world. It also makes me consider what acts of kindness I am doing every day.

Connecting the Dots Podcast

Podcasting hit the mainstream in July of 2005 when Apple added podcast show support within iTunes. I'd seen this coming so started podcasting in May of 2005 and kept going until August of 2007. Unfortunately was never 'discovered' by national broadcasters, but made a delightfully large number of connections with people all over the world because of these shows. Click here to view the archive of my podcast posts.
